Our thanks go out to Rosemary of the Rockport (MA) Ambulance Service for their wonderful patch, which features their twin lights of Thacher Island. The Rockport Ambulance Service has 20 EMT’s on call for emergencies.
Art Motta, Tourism Director for the City of New Bedford, MA gave us this beautiful patch featuring the Clark’s Point Lighthouse. The abandoned and neglected lighthouse was removed from the Doomsday List after the City of New Bedford restored the lighthouse through private contributions. In gala ceremonies this past June 15th the lighthouse was relit.
