Lighthouse map collecting is an inexpensive way to foster your lighthouse hobby. Shown here from the collection of Richard F. Brown Jr. of Okemos are a number of state maps that have featured lighthouses on their cover. The oldest map shown here is South Carolina from 1973 and the newest is Michigan from 2000. However, if you start collecting beware that the old antique maps featuring lighthouse are rare and can sometimes be expensive. There are a number of them on display at the Lighthouse Depot Lighthouse Museum in Wells, Maine.
