The Friends of the Flying Santa of the lighthouses’ Bus Tour to visit Maine lighthouses stopped by for a fun shopping spree at Lighthouse Depot, The World’s Largest Lighthouse Gift Store, in Wells, Maine.
Some of them took time from their shopping experience to take a moment to pose for this group shot. George Morgan, The Flying Santa, is shown standing in the middle of the group, wearing, what else — a red shirt!
The Friends of Flying Santa, a nonprofit group, continues a tradition started many years ago of bringing presents by air to lighthouses at Christmas time. This bus tour was one of their numerous fund raising events they hold throughout the year.
