R. T. Masse was a radio operator onboard various U.S. Lightships. His professional skills were an outgrowth of his ham radio hobby. This was one of his QSL Cards. In the dark part underneath the lighthouse are imprinted the words U.S. Lighthouse Service WPW.
This card will be on display at the Museum of Lighthouse History in Wells, Maine. Donated by Joel F. O’Brien.
