Send us your lighthouse patches. After we publish them in Lighthouse Digest we will donate them to the American Lighthouse Foundation’s Museum of Lighthouse History for display. Send your lighthouse patches to Tim Harrison, Lighthouse Digest, P.O. Box 1690, Wells, ME 04090.
The patch from the U. S. Coast Guard Marine Safety Field Office in Portsmouth, NH features the Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse, which sometimes is referred to as Fort Constitution Light or Fort Point Light. William L. Hockensmith, Marine Science Technician at the Coast Guard Base in Portsmouth, NH, donated the patch.
Assateague Light, Virginia, is featured on the patch from the Chincoteague Natural History Association and Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge on Assateague Island. We thank Lynn Talbot, Business Manager of Chincoteague Natural History Association for submitting the patch.
The School Crossing Guard patch came us to from Anne Karpie of Buffalo NY who received it from her sister who just retired as a crossing guard. This is the first crossing guard patch with a lighthouse that we have ever received.
