The primary sponsor of Lighthouses on Parade is Hannaford Brothers a large supermarket chain with numerous stores throughout Maine and New England. They were formerly known as Shop N’ Save. Fifty percent of the money from the auction will divided among three Maine non-profits already chosen and the balance will go to the non profit chosen by the person who wins the lighthouse in the auction.

The lighthouse will be on display at nearly 70 locations in southern Maine from Wells, to slightly north of Portland. Four lighthouses will be displayed in Wells, Maine; at Spencer Press, Hannaford Supermarket and Lighthouse Depot. On display at Lighthouse Depot will be their “Undercover Lighthouse” and Harbour Lights’ “Cape Ape.” The American Lighthouse Foundation Lighthouse, named “Ye Beacons,” designed by artist John Byrne, will first be displayed at Hannaford in Wells.
