Shown here is the dramatic cover from the April 22, 1916 issue of Scientific American magazine showing an aircraft bombing a lighthouse. The caption reads, "German destruction of landmarks along the Belgium coast." We purchased the cover at an auction and it will be displayed in the Lighthouse Depot Museum. Unfortunately, we do not have the entire issue. If someone has the entire issue for sale or photo copies of the stories inside please contact us.
