Question: I get a message saying "username or password already taken" but I know I entered my password correctly. What's happening?
We changed our system in February 2001. Prior to this, the combination of your username and password had to be absolutely unique. Now your password by itself must be completely unique. As a result, a small number of users will be required to select a new password when they get this message. If you can access your user data, just change your password. If you can't access your data, email the webmaster and we will select a new password for you and send it to you.
