Dondra Lighthouse Sri Lanka Update

Ever since the story about the Dondra Lighthouse in Sri Lanka appeared in the Jan/Feb issue of Lighthouse Digest Magazine, the American Lighthouse Foundation, as well as Lighthouse Digest, have been inundated with emails of concern about the lighthouse keeper and the structure.
We are happy to report that the Dondra lighthouse keeper did survive the tsunami and had many stories to share with Preethi Burkholder who just returned from the region.
Preethi will provide an updated story in the April issue of Lighthouse Digest Magazine.
