My interest in lighthouse collection began after we built a sunroom onto our home. As I previously lived on the North Carolina coast, I ended up collecting replicas of all lighthousss on the Tarheel coast! I now collect lighthouses from other parts of the country/world where I have visited or otherwise have an interest in.
