I've lived in NJ all my life. Half my family moved up to and currently live in Maine, so I visit several times a year. Don't remember when I got hooked on lighthouses, but seem to always have had at least one lighthouse painting or picture on the wall. Between paintings and Harbour Lights, I currently have one Maine room and one NJ room in my house. And my office at work is decorated with Maine lighthouse postcards. For some strange reason lighthouses have a very calming effect, and it's always a childlike thrill to seek out and find new ones.
