I am 51 years old. I know little or nothing about lighthouses, except that I LOVE THEM! I have only been to three lighthouses personally in my life, Okracoke and Nag's Head, both in North Carolina. ACTUALLY, I walked up the Nag's Head Lighthouse shortly before it was moved, and then I went back again to see it being moved. AND, I grew up in Rockland County, NY, and I THINK, I recall, at the Stony Point Battlefield (American Revolution era) there was an old lighthouse there on the top of the hill on the Hudson River. Does anyone know whether that is right? I LOVE TO TALK ABOUT LIGHTHOUSES, DREAM ABOUT THEM, READ ABOUT THEM, etc.
