I'm from MA, U.S.A however living/working in Asian countries for the past 13 years. Thailand is home. You will not find lighthouses in most Asian countries which triggered my renewed interest in New England lighthouses. We have pictures of lighthouses in our home which makes for interesting conversation with our Thai friends most of whom have never seen a lighthouse. One of the finer things in life is spending the day driving down the cost of Maine (listening to Boston sports talk shows); stopping at lighthouses to take pictures; taking in the atmosphere and "re-fueling" on NE Clam Chowder, friend clams, corn on the cob and ice cream!
