I live in landlocked Missouri. I grew up in Texas, but didn't get to see a lighthouse even then. My home is lighthouses all the way. People around here, especially the students I teach, know me for my love of lighthouses - even if they can't remember my name! My school classroom is even decorated in lighthouses. And I wear lots of lighthouse apparel. I got to see an actual lighthouse this summer when we visited CA. But I couldn't go into it. That's my real dream! To live in a lighthouse!
