LIGHTHOUSE INTERESTS
One of the most beautifully restored and most neglected lighthouses on Lake Michigan is Seul(Sih)Choix(shwah).It has been turned over to the Gulliver Historical Society and is found just 6 miles south of the town of Gulliver in the Michigan Upper Peninsula.It is a must for any lighthouse lover to visit especially if you enjoy the view from the top of a lighttower which is open to the public.

I am a retired educator who has developed an interest in Great Lakes lighthouse research and photography. I am presently working for a tour company in Michigan and have escorted tours to 25 lighthouses on Lake Michigan.The variety of lighthouses on Lake Michigan and the interest of others to keep them restored to their original beauty has become a special interest of mine.
