LIGHTHOUSE INTERESTS
My favorite spot is Piedras Blancas. I have wanted to see it restored to it's previous beauty and spend at least a week at the town of Cambria where the lens is now on display. Also I wish to see the Dana Point Lighthouse built. It had been proposed to be built in 1924 and was never completed. Right now I am trying to find out as much as possible about every order of the Fresnel lens. I understand that there were 11 different ones used for lighthouses and maritime purposes.

I live in Southern California.I am married and retired from running our own land and construction surveying company for 25 years. I have visited almost every lighthouse in California, including one that I found on the "DoomsDay List"; Rubicon Point at Lake Tahoe. I have seen the back bay lighthouses of San Francico and San Pablo bays.
