I have always been fascinated by lighthouses since I was a little girl spending endless summers at the Jersey Shore gazing at the Barnegat Bay Lighthouse. I then moved to Virginia Beach and was able to have such a spectacular view of Cape Henry. I presently live in the Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia, but plan to retire back to Virginia Beach and explore lighthouses of North Carolina southward.
