LIGHTHOUSE INTERESTS
i am interested in a lot of lighthouses. one in mind is fire island. my husband went to school with rockwell norris who was the keeper in the 1980's. there was a book written about his son robert called roberts tallest friend. about a boy who talked to the lighthouse because he lived alone with his parents on the island. i am also interested in barney always have been

i have been a longtime resident on long beach island in the summer 65 yrs. my greatgrand father built a home in shipbottom, nj in the 1800's my grandparents had a home in beach haven park. my children and grandchildren also enjoy lbi. we lived on long island and then moved to toms river,nj to get our license plates with barney on them. about 10 years ago, i took a picture of barney and blew it up to 18 by 20 that is when we decided to collect lighthouses. i belong to harbour lights and also have visited you in wells,me.i also have a lighthouse on my lawn. if anyone knows of the burdsall or verrall family on lbi i would like to hear from you. pat abut
