Currently I am interested in seeing those along the east coast although, having worked in the criminal justice field for several years I hope to take an early retirement and widen my area of travel to see others soon.

I have always gotten a warm, fuzzy feeling from lighthouses and church steeples. I really became a lighthouse enthusiast after becoming a Seventh-day Adventist Christian and hearing the song, "If It Wasn't For the Lighthouse." I am decorating several rooms in my home with a lighthouse motiff--from wallpaper border, to lamps, to curtains, rugs, glassware--you name it! By the way, I am searching for a lighthouse water fountain for my lawn and my bedroom if anyone can direct me to one. I am beginning my travels to see lighthouses for two weeks in early August when I will meet an old friend and begin my journey north from Long Island, NY. Who knows, she may become a lighthouse enthusiast too....
